Hello User: 87.7.226.37

When leaving a Edit_summary; you need to make sure you follow the guide lines. I'am sorry if you thought I was being rude; I'm as just following WP:CITE, and WP:MOS guidelines. The main issue with the summaries is this guideline. Wwhn you say "You know in 2012...'he died.'" to be blunt; I don't care about his death. Now I am not trying to be mean about it, look at the death objectively. I just stand neutral to peoples deaths that are documented on Wikipedia, or you become bias to one side of the article. WP:Neutral

  • Avoid inappropriate summaries. You should explain your edits, but without being overly critical or harsh when editing or reverting others' work. This may be perceived as uncivil, and cause resentment or conflict. Explain what you changed, citing the relevant policies, guidelines or principles of good writing, but do not target others in a way that may come across as a personal attack. Wikipedia:ES

I don't want you to get in trouble because of the way you phrased, your edit summary. Just explain your changes and always Wikipedia:Assume good faith; before Addressing a issue like that. My edit summary about IMDb was not to show it was notable or not just to say major web site don't list the individual as credited for the work. Read through WP:CITE, bios of people weather alive or dead still have very strict rules for content; 'Cited in game and staff credits' does not meet the requirements. So As well WP:Original Research is not excepted 99% of the time.

  • If your source is not available online, it should be available in reputable libraries, archives, or collections. If a citation without an external link is challenged as unavailable, any of the following is sufficient to show the material to be reasonably available (though not necessarily reliable): providing an ISBN or OCLC number; linking to an established Wikipedia article about the source (the work, its author, or its publisher); or directly quoting the material on the talk page, briefly and in context. WP:SOURCELINKS

You have done good editing from what I have seen so far. The more you familiarize you self with the Wikipedia Guidelines, you realize how much effort is its to keep up with mistakes of over the 5 million articles. Just a time, I know its time consuming, but looking deep into the article subject to find good refs can take hours to weeks, to complete. In the long run it make a better article. Happy Editing! Kyle, you took this all too seriously. When I say, of course he worked on it till 2012. You know in 2012 ... "he died". So it is quiet clear. It is written. - I simply say that it makes no sense to write "Fallout 4 (2012)," because if he died in 2012 it is clear that he carried his work so far, even if the game has been released in 2015; therefore it is more correct to write "Fallout 4 (2015)". Stop. Neither more, nor less.
The question about the sources: I reminded you that IMDb is not considered reliable because, in 6-year of editing (yes exactly, six years of editing as not registered user) is what they all have reproached me when I used it as a source. "Cited in-game credits and staff." it could be unreliable ... but it's true. And methods of this type have already been adopted in a number of Wikipedia pages (without ISBN or OCLC), right or wrong they are.
Happy editing to you, too. 87.7.226.37 (talk) 09:11, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
