The truth about Personal Branding

It seems like everyone has their own idea as to what a Personal Brand really is. Some like to make it seem very confusing, while others make it very simple. The truth is that a brand is a noun. It's an actual living breathing identity. Branding is a verb, it's the actual communication of your brand. Branded is an adjective, it's the result of your branding efforts. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.106.113.216 (talkcontribs).

No no no no no, this is all wrong. Brand is a verb, branding is a noun, and branded is, well… you'll have to buy my book The Dark Triad Economy: How to Unleash Your Inner Sociopath to find out. Planetjanet (talk) 18:18, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How does the section on gender roles and personal branding look?

Unsourced material

This material in the lead has been tagged with a citation notice for 2 years - Personal branding also involves creating an asset by defining an individual's body, clothing, physical appearance, digital and online presence and areas of knowledge in a way leading to a uniquely distinguishable, and ideally memorable, impression. A ref was provided from The Charolette Observer, which printed event info that was provided by Eventbrite. That source was opined to have been copied from WP, with no offer of proof - it very well could have been the other way around, WP could have copied the info from them, which would be a copyvio. Therefore, to be on the safe side and per WP:VERIFY, it has been removed - Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed. The material in question should not be restored without providing the proper references that verify it is not a copyvio or original research, it must comply with WP:RS and WP:VERIFY.
