Rosette Susanna (Rosa) Manus (best known as Rosa Manus, August 20, 1881 – 1942) was a Dutch-born pacifist, feminist and female suffragist.

Early years

Rosa Manus was born the second of seven children to an affluent Jewish parents, Henry Philip Manus, a tobacco merchant, and Soete Vita Israël, a homemaker, in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.[1][2]

Death

Rosa Manus was transferred to Ravensbrück concentration camp in October 1941.[3] She was likely gassed at Bernburg in 1942. There is conflicting information around her date of death.[4]
