Man vs Snake: The Long and Twisted Tale of Nibbler is a 2016 documentary film directed by Andrew Seklir and Tim Kinzy which chronicles the story of the first billion-point video game as achieved by Tim McVey of Ottumwa, Iowa in January 17, 1984 and the modern quest for world record dominance on the classic arcade video game Nibbler. Other players represented in the film include Canadian Dwayne Richard, Italian Enrico Zanetti and American Rick Carter. The film also features Walter Day and Billy Mitchell as well as Tim's wife, Tina McVey. The film premiered on September 27, 2015 at Fantastic Fest Film Festival where it won the Jury Award for Documentary Best Picture. On May 24, 2016 it was announced that Man vs Snake would be distributed internationally by leading independent film and documentary publisher Filmbuff with a release date scheduled for June 24, 2016.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
