Bottega Louie is an Italian restaurant, gourmet market, and French patisserie, set inside the historic, 100-year-old, Brockman Building in Downtown Los Angeles. It is known for its open kitchen and extensive menu of pastas, salads, small plates, pizza, and pastries.[1] In addition, Bottega Louie includes a gourmet market where patrons can purchase packaged foods and full line of confections, chocolates, pasta sauces, dry pastas and preserves. It was named the “Most Popular Restaurant” in the country on the rating / review site Yelp.[2] Bottega Louie is also the "highest grossing independent restaurant in California" according to Restaurant Business Online

Bottega Louie opened in 2009. It has over 400 employees and serves about 15,000 guests a week in its dining room and adjoining gourmet market.[3]

Location

Bottega Louie is located in the Brockman Building and is credited with creating Downtown Los Angeles's "Restaurant Row."[4][5] This particular area of Downtown Los Angeles is currently undergoing a rapid expansion of bars, restaurants and residences[3][6][7] that some real estate developers are calling a "7th Street Renaissance."[8][9] Bottega Louie is also an integral part of the Downtown Center Business Improvement District.[10][11]
