The Mountain Brook School System serves the city of Mountain Brook which is an affluent suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. It's one high school is Mountain Brook High School. It serves grades 10-12. The middle school has grades 7-9 and is called Mountain Brook Junior High School. It has four elementary schools that flow into the junior high, and they serve kindergarten through the sixth grade. They are Crestline Elementary School, Mountain Brook Elementary School, Brookwood Forest Elementary School, and Cherokee Bend Elementary School. There is also a private school, Highlands Day School, that is within Mountain Brook city limits, but is not in the school system.
