Toyo Gakuen University 東洋学園大学 (known by the acronym TGU) is a small private college located in the greater Tokyo area of Japan. The university has two campuses. The original campus, which presently houses the School of Business Administration, is located in downtown Tokyo, in Hongo Ward. The school also has a larger campus in the city of Nagareyama, in Chiba prefecture--about an hour away from the main campus by train. The Nagareyama campus is the home for TGU's Faculty of Humanities.

At present, the student body of TGU is approximately 2,500, being taught by approximately 100 full-time, and another 50 or so part-time instructors. While providing as broad an educational background as is possible to its students, TGU's curricular strengths are in the following areas:

  • English language teaching and learning
  • Psychology
  • Business administration
