Christopher Andrew Egan

Christopher Andrew Egan (born June 29, 1984 in Sydney, Australia), is an Australian actor best known for playing Nick Smith in the Australian soap opera Home and Away for 3 years. His middle name, Andrew, is the name of his father.[1]

During his career as an actor, Egan has appeared in several commercials and even done some modelling but his ability and ambition for acting came when he performed in the Glen Street production of Les Miserables and West Side Story. Egan has also been trained in singing and dancing and has been part of several Eisteddfods.

  • During his time on Home and Away, Egan was romantically linked with co- stars Kate Garven and Isabel Lucas
  • He made a demo song, titled Fly Away
  • He attended a performing arts school - the same school that his co-star Zac Drayson attended
