Lancers International School is a school in Gurgaon, India which educates students from Kindergarten to Class XII.[1] The students board at the school;[2] many are international students from Japan and Korea.[3]

History

The school was founded on July 30, 2009.

In 2010 two students from the school were kidnapped. The criminals were later arrested.[4]

In 2012 the school was damaged by fire, but in spite of the fact that no one at the school knew how to operate the school's fire suppression system, guards helped the children escape without injury.[5][6][7] That year the school took a group of its older students on a trip to France and Germany.[8]

In 2013 the school was in a lawsuit with a neighbouring organization over the use of an access lane.[9][10]

In 2014 Lancers staff organized an interschool festival, with competitive cultural and academic activities. Students from various schools in Gurgaon took part.

In 2016 the school was in the news again when a staff member was arrested after an alleged assault.[11] That year the school was also dealing with unprecedented levels of air pollution in the city, reducing outdoor activities.[12]
