Rahul Kumar is an Indian football player who plays as a Defender for I-League team Salgaocar.[1] Kumar was one of the original players of Pune F.C. in 2007.
Kumar played the school nationals in Kolkata in 2001, and in Chandigarh in 2002. He also played the U-21 nationals and later went on to play for the Punjab senior team in 2005.
After school he joined the JCT Academy and worked at the Punjab Electricity Board before joining Pune F.C. He has become a cult hero amongst players off online management game Soccer Manager, most famously making a SMFA cup semi final appearance as a substitute in Internazionale's run to the semi final scoring a goal in the role of super sub.
