Kenneth Ian Griffiths is a former Royal Navy sailor who served as a radar operator in HMS Cardiff (D108) during the Falklands War. He donated a significant quantity of internationally recognisable photographs taken during his time in the war zone to Wikimedia Commons. He went on to become an Aircraft Controller within the Fleet Air Arm before leaving the service in 1995.
