Hi-Point Firearms (Also known as Mks Supply, and Beemiller Distributing) is a firearms manufacturer based in Dayton, Ohio. They manufacture low-cost pistols and Carbines, in the following calibers:

Firearms manufactured by Hi-Point generally include polymer frames and powder coat finishes; they are +P+ rated and operate via a simple blow-back action. Blow-back designs are generally limited to .380 ACP or lower calibers so as a result Hi-point firearms tend to be larger and heavier then comparable firearms of that caliber.

Hi-point weapons are regarded as simple, inexpensive guns which sacrifice aesthetics for lower cost and ease of use. Their products generally retail for 1/2 to 1/4 the cost of a comparably chambered gun from other, more prestigious manufacturers. Compared to other low cost firearms such as the Jennings/Bryco/Jimenez Arms line the Hi-point shines as a decent quality firearm for the price with Hi-point carbines being popular even among knowledgeable gun collectors. Additionally many stock and aftermarket options are available, more so with the carbine, and magazines are swapable between handguns and carbines (a rarity in firearms).

Magazines

Typical Hi-Point magazines are metal with plastic bases. They are generally available in 8 to 10 round capacities for pistols and 10 rounds for rifles.

  • A 15 round magazine was made by ProMag but faults were found in the design and are no longer being produced.
  • All the magazines can be ordered from their respective source in the warranty section.
  • The 9mm pistol and .380ACP magazines are interchanged but will not work in the carbines.
  • The 9mm Carbine mags will fit into the 9mm and .380ACP pistols but may not function correctly and are not recommended to be used in them.
  • The .40 S&W and .45ACP magazines are interchangeable between each other and the .40 S&W Carbine

Warranty

All Hi-Points come with a lifetime no-questions asked warranty. Whether you are the original purchaser, or a third-hand owner, your Hi-Point firearm will be repaired free of charge.
