Midhisho, also referred to as Medeshi or Medishe, is a small town in Erigavo District of the Sanaag region of Somaliland.[1]

Overview

Midhisho is known for its abundance of water, frankincense and fertile land. It is located in northeast of Erigavo city and most of it's residents are primarily farmers.

Demographics

The Midhisho town is situated to be inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group. It's traditionally settled by the Gadweyne sub-division of Habar Yoonis clan, whom are the exclusive inhabitants of the town.
