Faraweyne ([Farawein] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a town in the northwestern Woqooyi Galbeed region of Somaliland. It is located in southwest of Hargeisa.[1]
Overview
It's a fertile area that connected between the capital Hargeisa to Ethiopia such as Harshin, Hart Sheik and Kebri Beyah
Demographics
The town has a total population of 4,456 and is situated is inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group, with Sa'ad Musse sub-clan of Habr Awal well represented.
