Jungle Carpet Python (Morelia spilota cheynei) is a snake species found in Queensland, Australia.

I own one of these snakes so since there is no article I can at least do something-

Jungle carpet Pythons live 20 years+, and grow to aprox. 8 ft. They are black in color and have yellow markings that could be described as spots. The snake is nippy in nature, more so when it's a baby, constant holding of the snake 20-30 mins. a day will allow the snake to identify you, and biting will stop once he/she realizes you're not a threat. Do not hold right before of right after feeding, or the snake will associate handling with feeding, again promting bites. They eat mice and later they eat rats and for 'treats' rabbits or other small mammals, so do not let it near your pets, such as a cat or small dog.

Research is needed~ I will edit this page (far better) in a few weeks when I'm more familiar with wiki.
