Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig is the Director and Professor at the Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program at California State University, Sacramento. He is the author of several articles, publications, and actively writes for the blog "Cloaking Inequity," consistently rated one of the top 50 education websites in the world by Teach100. His research focuses on educational policy and charter schools.

Education[edit]

Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig was born in Lansing, Michigan. He received his Bachelors (B.A.) in History and Psychology from The University of Michigan, then Masters (M.A.) in Higher Education. Dr. Heilig then received his second Masters (M.A.) in Sociology from Stanford University, and finally his Doctorate (PhD) in Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University.

Career[edit]

Dr. Heilig currently sits as Director and active professor in the Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program at California State University, Sacramento.
