Education Acts in UK

The list in the article, whilst long is not comprehensive. Ironically the important Act that first introduced so-called comprehensive secondary education into the UK, Education Act 1968, is one of those not included. Also missing are the 1946 Act and the Education (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1948. The fact that the 1968 Act is missed from the list cannot be explained by the fact that it has been repealed in its entirety because the 1944 Act was repealed by the same Act, viz-a-viz Education Act 1996.Moonraker55 (talk) 23:10, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
