Playrix is an Irish-Russian mobile game company based in Vologda, Russia. one of the world’s top mobile games developers,[1] employing more than 600[2] people across several offices. The company has released three mobile free-to-play games: Township, Fishdom and Gardenscapes. All its projects have consistently been among the Top 50 Grossing Apps for iOS and Google Play since their release.[3]
By the end of 2016, the company was among the 20 highest grossing mobile game developers[4] around the world.
In 2016, Facebook named Gardenscapes its game of the year. [5]
In August 2017 Playrix became the highest grossing mobile game developer in Europe[6], and in September – the 9th highest on Android[7] and the 10th highest on iOS[8] worldwide. Later that month, the company released[9] their new game: Homescapes. It features Austin, the same main character as in Gardenscapes.
