I believe that administrators should be accountable for their actions. Therefore, as an admin, I am open to recall. If you follow all the instructions here and the recall petition succeeds, I will resign my administrative tools at the bureaucrat's noticeboard. I do reserve the right to attempt a new RfA, if I wish to do so.

Procedure

[edit]
  1. Before initiating a recall petition, you must have discussed the matter with me on my talk page. If I have not replied within 48 hours, or if the result of the discussion does not satisfy you, you must then attempt an involuntary method of dispute resolution. This includes any noticeboards, such as WP:ANI.
  2. The recall petition must directly relate to an administrative action of mine or my conduct when discussing an administrative action which I performed. You must also plainly state which policy (no guidelines or essays) I violated when doing either of these things, and explain how I did so. In summary, you may not file a recall petition for actions performed as a normal editor outside my capacity as an administrator.
  3. To initiate a recall petition, you must have at least one month's tenure (starting when you made your first edit, not when you registered) and 500 edits. If you do not meet these criteria, you may ask someone else who does to file the petition on your behalf. If you cannot find anyone who is willing to do this, the chances are good that the actions in question do not merit desysopping, anyway.
  4. If you have done all the things listed above, fill out the recall petition template at the bottom of this page. You must also notify me on my talk page that you have initiated a recall petition.
  5. Within 72 hours, at least one bureaucrat and one admin, both of whom are completely uninvolved in the dispute, must certify that the petition is justified. You may post neutrally-worded notices on the bureaucrats' noticeboard and the administrators' noticeboard so that the bureaucrats and admins will be aware of the petition and certify it if they see fit. Canvassing of individual editors is strictly prohibited and if you are found doing so, the petition will be dismissed immediately.
  6. Anyone may open the petition for discussion after the last required editor has certified the petition. The petition must be opened within 72 hours of the last required certification.
  7. Once again, you may neutrally post notifications of the petition's opening on neutral, on-wiki venues. As before, canvassing of individual editors is prohibited.
  8. The discussion will run for seven days. Only users with one month of tenure (started at the time of their first edit) and 500 edits may participate. I will resign my tools if 60% of participants support the petition. A bureaucrat will close the discussion (at the end of the seven days, they should be notified at WP:BN). They reserve the right to discount any !votes which they deem to have been cast because of canvassing or by illegitimate sockpuppets.
  9. If the recall petition fails, you may not reinitiate it for the same incident.
