The result is given as 40 chairs for ARENA and 6 chairs for MDB. I did not read the source indicated, but there is a discrepancy, because in an election marked by the null vote, the MDB had only 5 victories: the three chairs of Guanabara, a chair in the state of Rio de Janeiro (Amaral Peixoto) and a chair in the State of São Paulo (Franco Montoro).



Internal inconsistency
