Sahukara (Kannada: ಸಾಹುಕಾರ) is a 2004 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by K. Manju. The film stars V. Ravichandran, Rambha, Shashikumar and Anu Prabhakar in the lead roles.[1] Veteran actor Vishnuvardhan made a special appearance in the film.[2] The film was a remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Thenmavin Kombath directed by Priyadarshan, starring Mohanlal and Shobana. in the lead roles. Thenmavin Kombath which was later remade into Tamil as Muthu, which starred Rajinikanth and Meena.[3][4]

The film released on 24 September 2004 to generally positive reviews from critics[5] and successfully screened for about 7 weeks in cinema halls.

Soundtrack

The music of the film was composed by Rajesh Ramanath. However, it is to be noted that all the songs in the soundtrack are directly by composer A. R. Rahman from the Tamil original version and vocals has been added.
