A terrorist attack occurred in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso, on 2 March 2018. Targets reportedly included the French Embassy and the military headquarters.[1] Local police believe jihadists to be behind the attack, which involved the use of gunfire and at least one car bomb.[2] According to Burkinabé government sources, seven gunmen have been killed; four at the French Embassy and three at the military headquarters.[3]
