Sonali Kulkarni (born 1965) is President and CEO of Fanuc India, the local unit of Japanese industrial robots maker Fanuc Corp.[1] In her role, she oversees all Sales, Marketing, Business Development activities for all products including CNC, Robots, Robomachines and System Integration for Fanuc, India.[2]

Kulkarni has been named one of the most powerful businesswomen in 2014.[3]

Education & career

Kulkarni is completed her MBA from Ohio State University and she is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.[4] She is a Zoology graduate and has a keen interest in environmental sustainability.[1]

Kulkarni has worked as a Financial Analyst in the US.[1] Kulkarni took charge as CEO of Fanuc India in 2006.[4] Before becoming the CEO, she worked as the executive assistant to Fanuc’s chairman in Japan.[4] Since Kulkarni took charge as a CEO, company's revenue has doubled and the company has captured an 80% market share in the industrial robots in India.[1]
