Babaganouj are an Australian indie rock band formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2011 by Charles Sale, Harriette Pillbeam, and Pete Schnapps after Sales' former band Yves Klein Blue disbanded in late 2010.[1][2] The original line up consisted of Sale on lead vocals and guitar, Pillbeam on bass guitar and backing vocals and Schnapps (later replaced by Jack Gleeson) on drums. In 2012 Ruby McGregor from Go Violets was added as a fourth member and the rhythm guitarist just after the release of the EP Sife Lucks. Pillbeam had also joined the Go Violets in 2012 replacing former bassist Christyana Kim. McGregor made her debut in the video for "Love Loathe Love You".[3]
