Jane Michele Raybould[1] [2] was the Democratic Nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska in the state's 2014 Gubernatorial Election, receiving 38.9%[3] of the vote. She was a Lincoln, Nebraska City Councilwoman and a Lancaster County, Nebraska Commissioner as well [4]. She is currently the Democratic Nominee for Senator in the state of Nebraska.

Senate Race 2018

After the Democratic primary for the the 2018 U.S. Senate Election in Nebraska, which was held on May 15, 2018[5]. Jane Raybould was declared the winner very early on into the night. She was the frontrunner for the entirety of the race so her victory was not considered a surprise by most. She has received the notable endorsement of former Democratic U.S. Senator Ben Nelson. [6]
