Wayland is an American rock band consisting of four members. This mid western group is named for the small town of Wayland, Michigan, where guitarist Phillip Vilenski grew up.[3] The group released their first album (self-titled) in 2010.[4]The band also consists of bassist Dean Pizzazz, singer/rhythm guitarist Mitch Arnold, and Nigel Dupree on drums.

History

Debut Album

Wayland's self-titled debut album was released in 2010 on Ironworks Records. [5] The band left Los Angeles, California after their album was released to live and tour in the Midwest.

Welcome to My Head [6]

Wayland released "Welcome to My Head" as part of a 4-song EP in 2012. Another single off this EP, "Get A Little", peaked at number six on the iTunes rock chart in 2014.[3][7]
