National flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Cộng hòa Xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam) and ensign of Vietnam People's Navy (Hải quân Nhân dân Việt Nam) waves on the Ho Chi Minh submarine, 3 April 2014.

The Hồ Chí Minh City is a Kilo-class submarine of the Vietnam People's Navy. She is one of 6 kilo submarines in service with Vietnam. In 2014 it had to sail though a frozen lake.^[1]^[2]
