Your vote on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Rune Mysteries
Someone claiming to be you but not logged in cast a vote on this VfD; since even if it was you it will probably not be counted coming from an anonymous address, you will probably want to go in and replace it with a logged-in vote if you still feel the same way. However, you should be aware that your vote came after the author of the original articles under discussion altered the subject of the VfD, adding 24 articles that were not his -- the message being "If you don't want these to be deleted, you have to keep mine too." This may change your vote. -- Antaeus Feldspar 03:23, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Why did you put a speedy delete header on Henry the Fat? In the first place, it should have been rfd for redirects for deletion, and second, it's not a candidate for speedy delete. RickK 22:57, Nov 12, 2004 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't know about the RFD thing, and I've never heard of "Henry the Fat". Its sounded like vandalism. Sorry.
Not a problem. Also, when you create VfD listings, you need to add them to the Votes for deletion page. RickK 00:37, Nov 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks, and okay.
Pokemon and Stereotyping
In reference to the comment you left on my talk page:
- Stereotyping or not...you know it's true. --ExplorerCDT 01:45, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
VfD
Please read and follow the VfD instructions in full when nominating a page. I have added the heading for you this time. Chris 02:13, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Wikilink floor
I have been a convert to "when in doubt, link", after starting the other way although I can assure you that floor never occurred to me (guess that there's no doubt). The only explanation as to why someone would do that would be "because they can". I guess they were either playing or making some sort of point. I can somewhat plead guilty to that in that sometimes when some articles seem so overlinked that I see just how far that I can take it, within the rules (only first use of a word being linked). This could just be an example of that, I guess. Hang in there!

Welcome
I can't believe it that you put a welcome message on a user who vandalized Wikipedia and even called me by a offensive name that I view as offensive. 66.245.108.212 23:35, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Who would that be?
Boogsie Sharpe
Just curious why you changed "Boogsie" to Lennox? "Sharpe" or "Len" I could understand, but I had to go looking to find "Lennox" - never heard him referred to by that name. Is your experience different? Guettarda 00:41, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
He is best known as "Boogsie" or as Len "Boogsie" Sharpe. But I suppose it wasn't clear what I was trying to say if you read it that way. Guettarda 02:23, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I moved List of websites back to its original name, to avoid Wikipedia self-references. —tregoweth 17:30, Dec 4, 2004 (UTC)
64.160.53.49
64.160.53.49 vandalised your userpage. I had the honour of reverting it :-) You may want to add him to your wall of shame. JFW | T@lk 10:10, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me about that =) I'll add him now. Oven Fresh 15:01, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Copyrights
I noticed your comment that there are no copyrights on Wikipedia. The subject is covered at Wikipedia:Copyrights#Contributors' rights and obligations. As I understand it, the person who writes the material owns the copyright, and retains that copyright even when posting it to Wikipedia. The act of posting licenses it for use under the GFDL. The copyright owner still has the option of blocking uses that don't conform to the GFDL. Some Wikipedians, considering the GFDL to be possibly too restrictive, also license their contributions under other, similar licenses. That's why Anthony (and I, and others) have various kinds of multi-licensing on our user pages. JamesMLane 20:47, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Anthony
Anthony is welcome to have whatever he likes on his userpage if it does not violate Wikipedia policies, and as he owns the copyright to all his edits, he is welcome to license them however he pleases. Snowspinner 21:34, Dec 5, 2004 (UTC)
Your screenshot of the Wikipedia mainpage was tagged with {{screenshot}}. However, this implies Fair Use. The correct tag would, IMHO, be {{gfdl}}, because all content that can be seen at the screenshot is free or GFDL content. Can you change the tag? That means other users can change the image (-: Gerritholl 15:45, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Wikipedia Stylesheet
With regards to my stylesheet, I encourage you to use it and modify it to your liking. In fact, I got the stylesheet off of mediawiki's webpage and I added some very minor tweaks to it. Just make sure you have Firefox, a high version of Mozilla, or Netscape 7.2 to get the full effect.
deletebecause
Thanks for removing the full stop from the deletebecause template. I'd just gotten used to it very unnaturally being there and making sure not to put an extra one at the end of my sentences, and then you go and remove it. *grumbles*. xfeff;--fvw* 11:00, 2004 Dec 17 (UTC)
Re: Deleted comments
Because I consider them to be negative criticism, and each incident of negative criticism feels like a very hard punch in my face. I still follow any directions I am given, but I just want to forget those moments. Denelson83 02:47, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
