"What Goes Around..." a.k.a "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around Interlude" is rumored to be the third single from Justin Timberlake's solo sophomore album FutureSex/LoveSounds. The song has been described by many as Cry Me a River2006, partly because it is thought to reference the singer's ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears, and her alleged infidelities during their relationship, similar to the lyrics of Cry Me a River. Timberlake himself has claimed that "What Goes Around..." is not autobiographical in any way, but he got the inspiration to write this song from his best friend Trace Ayala, who dated actress Elisha Cuthbert.
