Birr is a small hamlet in Middlesex Centre, located at the intersection of Ontario Highway 4(Richmond Street) and The 13th concession, approximately 7km North of London, Ontario, Canada.

It is commonly said "if you blink you'll miss it". Despite its small size, Birr has maintained itself and supported variouse private business throughout the years. Most notable, is Leggs General Store. The store has been owned and operated by the Leggs since its creation. Also, there are currently two churches, three cemetaries, and a furniture store.

A long unregulated establishment in Birr is "The Island" The island was built by local children year ago. Since then, it has provided variouse generations with a place to seek refuge as well as get into trouble. "The Island" is not far from "The Pond", home hockey rink for all Birr-Born folk.

Birr has been the birth place of a few outstanding people. Jesse A. Wilkes was born in 1989 to Derek and Gloria and has since birth showed a love for music. Now associated with a band called Mean Tangerine, Jesse is in attendance at Medway Highschool. He is close friends with other Born-To-Birr friend Ian Legg.

Ian was famouse enough as a child because everybody was familiar with his uncle's store. In his early highschool years, Ian made a name for himself as the fastest boy around. Despite the fact that he has been defeated at organized racing events, when Ian is pitted one on one with any individual his speed prevails.

For any who doubt the speed of Ian, I encourage you, go to Birr, ask for him in the General Store, and get some ice cream while your there, but dont blink, as you may drive by, or miss your chance with Ian, because he's that fast.
