Mansour Lakehal (born 30 December 1983 in France) is a French footballer.
Singapore
Attending a try out for Etoile, an all-French side newly installed in the 2010 S.League, Lakehal landed his first professional contract,[24] stating that it was not easy to adapt at first due to being away from loved ones[25] which was made harder by the heat as well as the language barrier.[24] Scooping up the 2010 S.League and League Cup trophies,[25][24][26] the centre-back was voted the championship's best defender, nicknamed 'The Rock'.[24] However, despite forming a solid backline with fellow centre-back Loïc Leclercq,[26] an infuriated Lakehal was reported to have slapped Tampines Rovers' Benoit Croissant as they were held 1-1, ending up having to sit out three games.[27]
