Marks Point New South Wales, Australia is a suburb located within Lake Macquarie city. It is composed of a small peninsula and surrounding areas of that peninsula that are situated on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest salt water lake. The suburb is named after the Marks Brothers, and is one of the oldest suburbs in the lake Macquarie area. It merges with the town of Belmont, New South Wales to the north-east, and Pelican to the south-west.

There are many motels located here, as well as two marina's, a public school and an oval. The north eastern dwellings of this suburb are housing commission low income dwellings, while the dwellings of the peninsula (point) are home to affluent high income families. The remainder of the suburb is a middle income haven, which is very popular with those arriving from further abroad, specifically Sydney.

Marks Point, and the surrounding suburbs were until recently serviced by a nearby airport called Aero Pelican, which has since been closed down for redevelopment.
