Trial of Saddam Hussein
Former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, in a hearing before the Iraqi Special Tribunal on July 1, 2004. This occurred over two years prior to his official trial, the result of which was that he was found guilty of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
