CloudMosa
CloudMosa is an American multinational technology company that specializes in software and cloud computing. The company is headquartered in Saratoga, California.[1][2] Its flagship product is the Puffin Browser, which was released in 2010.[3]
History
The company was founded in 2009 by former Google developer Shioupyn Shen, who currently holds the position of CEO.[4][5] In late 2010, the company launched Puffin – a cloud-powered web browser for use on mobile, PC, and Mac platforms.[6][7][8] In October 2016, CloudMosa partnered with Sony to supply their internet connected TV sets with the Puffin TV app.[9]
Puffin Browser
A web browser developed by CloudMosa which employs cloud-powered technology and uses remote servers in an effort to increase page load and JavaScript speed and decrease the use of local resources. By 2011 the browser had over 500,000 users.
