Gloria Plevin

Gloria Rosenthal Plevin (born 1934) is an American painter and print maker living and working in Northeast Ohio. She works in watercolors, pastels, acrylics and monoprints.[1]

Biography

Gloria Rosenthal Plevin was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1934. Plevin was raised in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She began pursuing a painting career in the mid 1960's. Her work has been shown in many exhibitions.[1]

Education and Career

Plevin graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1952. She received an Associates Degree from Ohio University in 1954.[2] When she was thirty years old with young children at home, she began taking classes at the Cooper School of Art, now closed, and at the Cleveland Institute of Art.[3]
