Laurentino "Nito" Cortizo Cohen (born 30 January 1953 in Panama City) is a Panamanian politician and businessman, a member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party. He is the new President elect of the Republic of Panama. He was a member of the National Assembly between 1994 and 2004.[1] He served as the President of the National Assembly from 2000 to 2001.[2]
