Amanda Clapham is an English actress best known for playing Holly Cunningham on British soap opera Hollyoaks.[1]

Acting career

Amanda Clapham joined British soap opera Hollyoaks in 2013 and played Holly Cunningham who was previously acted by Wallis Day. Her storylines included: a relationship with Jason Roscoe, played by Alfie Browne-Sykes, an affair with his brother, Robbie Roscoe, played by Charlie Wernham, a drunk driving accident that killed Rachel Hardy, taking drugs, and a relationship with Nathan Nightingale. Clapham opted to leave the show in 2018 and Holly departed in September.

Campaigns

Clapham was one of four Hollyoaks cast members fronting a UK Electoral Commission campaign to encourage young people to register to vote in the 2016 elections. The campaign included adverts on Channel 4, which broadcasts Hollyoaks.[2]

Amanda Clapham was nominated for Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards 2016. [citation needed]
