Snell & Wilmer is a business law firm founded in 1938. The firm has 400 attorneys practicing in nine locations in the western United States and Mexico.[1] Marc Schultz is a partner with the firm[2] while Matthew Feeney is the chairman.[3]

History

In the 1960s, the firm moved from the Heard Building to the Security Building and in 1973, it moved from the Security Building to the Valley Center (now Chase Tower).

Expansion

In 1989, the Tucson office was established and the firm merged with Bilby & Shoenhair in the same year.

During the 1990s, the firm moved its Phoenix offices to the Arizona Center and opened offices in Orange County, California, and Salt Lake City, Utah. The 2000s began with the establishment of new offices in Denver and Las Vegas. In October 2008, the firm's first international office opened in Los Cabos, Mexico. In February 2009 it opened a downtown Los Angeles office and in early 2010 it expanded its Nevada practice by opening a Reno office.
