Fazaia Medical College or FMC is a public sector health sciences medical college located in Islamabad, Pakistan[1]. The medical college is affiliated with one public sector teaching hospital running by Pakistan Air Force for undergraduate and post graduate medical education & training.


History

College was originally established on 16, March 2015 and planned to be inaugurated in December, 2015 with the start of first academic year of the college[2]. College is located in the premises of Air University in the secure and scenic environment of PAF Complex and Margala foothills. The college is built on atrium concept of architecture to ensure conducive and congenial environment for education[3]. The college has highly qualified and well experienced faculty.

Environment

FMC is equipped with state of the art laboratories, departmental museums, spacious and well equipped lecture halls & tutorial rooms, well stocked library, digital library, auditorium, campus wide Wifi facility and standby power source.


Programs

The FMC college offers undergraduate programs of MBBS and BDS Allied Health as well as post graduate residency and fellowship programs at its attached teaching hospitals.

The college has 3 main faculties:

  • Faculty of basic science
  • Faculty of clinical science
  • faculty of medical education
