Rishi Vaiya is Nepalese journalist and founder of a Nepali journalist association, Reporter's Club Nepal.[1][2][3] In addition, vaiya works for several other media outlets in Nepal. He is the host of the TV show The RD Show on Himalayan Television and has hosted many influential Nepalis on it.[4][5][6] Apart from that he hosts the Nepal Bani Network's Bani Bahas and writes features and articles in newspapers[7] and edits his own online newsportals.[8][9]
Controversies
On 3 February 2009 Rishi was arrested by the Nepalese police for links with a terrorist outfit, Ranvir Sena[10][11][12] engaged in serial blasts across Nepal. But was released on 13 April, by the Appellate Court Patan.[13]
