According to recent Vampire Novel like Bite Club ... A Renfield also means a companion of a vampire who was formerly a mortal. And was at some point been created through a blood exchanging process with a vampire. A Renfield in Bite Club is considerably weaker than an actual vampire, but can dwell during the day and is immortal.

I looked at the Bedlam Assylum, and I really don't see how this relates to the character of Renfield. So, why is it on the article? -Diabolos 17:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Was'nt Renfield mentioned in Metal Gear Solid 3. This gives naked snake a Nightmare and triggers the nightmare Game
