Could someone clarify if the rule prohibiting betting on favorites is something that was germane to the career of this racehorse and not still in effect?Mk5384 (talk) 03:49, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification

The practice barring betting on certain horses is only used for prohibitive favorites, not just any race favorite, where a track that must pay out a minimum return on $1 could actually lose money (a minus pool) if everyone bet on a horse with incredibly low odds. It seems to have only been enforced with this horse, as it was the best one racing in Puerto Rico at the time.
