Samantha Barbash (born December 25, 1983 in the Bronx, NY) is an American author, entrepreneur and former adult entertainment host. She is most notable because her real life story is the subject of the movie, Hustlers which stars Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B. Hustlers is a film developed from Jessica Pressler’s 2015 article in New York Magazine called "The Hustlers at Scores,” which was nominated for a National Magazine Award.[1][2]
Known professionally as Samantha Foxx, she became an adult entertainment host at 19 and later a hostess at Scores Gentlemen's Club in Chelsea, New York[3] and Hustlers Club in Manhattan.[4]
Many of their biggest spending clients were highly paid Wall Street brokers.

According to Fox Business, following her conviction Barbash opened a spa that offered cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery.[2]
In April, 2019, Barbash told the New York Post she was going to try to stop the film's release, because it defamed her, and the producers did not acquire the rights to tell her story.[5] In April Barbash said she was flattered Jennifer Lopez was playing her.[6] But, by the time the film was released she said that Cardi B, who played a smaller role in the film, would have been a better choice.[7]
