Bogdan Karaičić (Serbian Cyrillic: Богдан Караичић; born 31 July 1984) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Lokomotiv Kuban of the Russian VTB United League, and as a scout for the Serbia national team.

Coaching career

In April 2012, at age of 28 Karaičić was named as a head coach of Hørsholm 79ers in Danish League. In his first season as head coach Karaičić was leading Hørsholm 79ers to the Danish Cup final, first one for the club since 1995, team lost final game playing against Bakken Bears.[1][2]

On December 9, 2013, he was named the head coach of Team FOG Næstved[3] of the Danish League. Karaičić won two bronze medals with Team FOG Næstved before he decided to leave the club.[4][5][6]

In August 2018, Karaičić was named as an assistat coach for Lokomotiv Kuban of the Russian VTB United League, where season before he worked as a scout. On November 15, 2019, Karaičić was appointed as interim head coach, leading team in 5 season games. [7][8] [9]

In January 2020, coach Igor Kokoškov added Karaičić to the Serbia national team staff as a scout.[10][11][12]
