On article notability

i have created a page listing Sway coverage to provide evidence of it's notability. feel free to add to it. I am also considering removing the warning about notability as Sway is not considered a product as mentioned here, also it seems to fit the guidlines in the article (especially about using relatively informal sources for open source software) --Zash 15 (talk) 01:06, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Zash 15: please add the references to the article. Having them in a separate page does not allow reader to verify the article contents. Please don't remove the notability tag until the article has enough sources to show that it is notable. It needs to meet WP:GNG just like any other subject. @The Mirror Cracked: I am hesitant to add the sources, because not all of them would have information that benefits the article (they would make the article harder to read), and i don't want to do more work on this article and then have it deleted because someone thinks it's not notable (I already wrote a draft and put in it a fairly large amount of time, and it got deleted) so i would prefer to reach some agreement about it's notability before making any (if necessary) time consuming edits. I did review WP:GNG and i think it fits the guidelines. iirc i also read somewhere on wikipedia that you can keep a seperate (from the article) list of sources to show an article is notable.Zash 15 (talk) 21:48, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
