Formed in 2019, the Premier Ultimate League (PUL) is a professional women's ultimate frisbee league. The president of the PUL is Maddy Frey, and the commissioner of the league is Tim "Bonesaw" Kepner.[1] The mission of the PUL is to increase accessibility and visibility of womxn in high-quality competition.[2] PUL players are paid $40 per league game.[3] The PUL has a long-term goal of merging with the Western Ultimate League, another women's professional ultimate league founded in 2020.[4]

The PUL is organized as a nonprofit entity.[5] In its inaugural year it raised funds by holding a "Sponsor-A-Player" program, raising $120,000 in just one week.[6][7] This program was repeated for the 2020 season with similar success.[8] The PUL is sponsored by the uniform maker VC Ultimate.[9]
