The sixth season of MasterChef Canada aired its special 2-hour season premiere on April 8, 2019 on CTV, concluding on June 10, 2019 with Jennifer Crawford of Kingston, Nova Scotia crowned as the winner and Andre Bhagwandat of Scarborough, Ontario finishing as the runner-up. Crawford became the first non-binary person and the first person from Atlantic Canada to win the competition. In a new twist this season, each judge selected six home cooks to invite to the Top 18, with each member receiving personal invitations delivered via courier.[1][2]
