Lakhahi Raj

Lakhahi[1] estate was a Independent State established in about 1461 as Usiya. Maharajahiraj Akhai Raj Singh Rathore, First Maharaja of Lakhahi who migrated from Jodhpur was the founder of Lakhahi. He conquered local territories. The Royal Family is descended from the Royal House of Rathores of Jodhpur-Marwar.

An enormous temple of Lord Shiva was build by Maharaja Rambaksh Singh Ji Rathore for about 300 years ago[2]. The state was demoted to a Zamindari in 19th Century.[3]
