Gopala Dynasty (Gopal Bansha/Raj Bansha)[1] was a Yaduvanshi Abhira dynasty[2], in ancient Nepal, by Gwalvanshi branch of Yadavas in the Kathmandu Valley. Gopals are credited with the discovery of the Pashupatinath volcanic mound in ancient Nepal, which became the location of the Pashupatinath temple.[3] [4]
