The Takatika Grit is a geologic formation in Chatham Island, New Zealand (Tioriori). It preserves fossils dating back to the Paleocene period, although it also preserves disturbed and reworked Campanian microfossils.

Tioriori upper Takatika Grit Possible Paleogene non-avian dinosaur, although the remains are probably Maastrichtian or Campanian in age.[3][4] Discovered in March 2003.[2][5]
